Default Couple of interesting guns on GB.com

Saw this Persian cut-away, but they also have a red-nine Artillery. Mind you, they're not giving these away, but they're still interesting.

I believe those were both in a recent auction; I bid on one.
Looks like "Medpawn" buys at auction raises the price a few 100 or 1000 $ and offers on GB; there are other GB sellers that routinely do the same thing.

Or perhaps these did not meet "reserve" and he has them back for selling himself?

But again, this post will be meaningless after a couple weeks when the auction link is no longer active. If it is important enough to post, why not copy the pictures from the auction and post them on the board server? JMHO.

Just thought you might be interested in the red nine. Never mind.
JMHO.

$8,000 for a cutaway is someone's dream. I'd pay $800 for it but no more. Especially since the ATF considers it a firearm, not a dewat.

The 'Persian' symbol for Safe (or is it Fire???) is interesting...

It's "safe". Look at the position of the safety tab.

I would say a cut away, if new is probably worth $1200-$1500

If original, I would say $4-$5,000 for a persian- and for any other luger, depending on rarity

Shattuck supposedly had what he called a Simson, serial #3 - but I never looked at it. If I thought it was an actual Simson, I would be willing to pay about $2500 for it - however my wife would probably say it was worth about $600

Every gun is ultimately “worth” whatever we are willing to pay for it. When I took out my shooter my brother said “man I’m glad they make you happy cause I wouldn’t pay more than $400 for it”. He can keep his newer, state of the art firearms from FN, I’ll take the ones they made 70+ years ago and my Lugers.
