Those Lugers have certainly had some interesting mods done to them. I bet they are fun shooters.

Hi,
One wonders what the difference in accuracy would be between a stock Luger, with some sort of improved sights, to one of these hideous things? Sieger |

Sights is sights. However good target sights will let older eyes see them more clearly and are truely adjustable and repeatable, rather than just movable.

Sorry for being a boring purist, but I agree with Mario (kurusu); even with modern guns (let's imagine with Lugers) that I use at the range I hardly change anything, and generally prefer to leave them in their original factory condition.
But as usual it's just a matter of personal preferences. Sergio

I'll just add that better sights can make it easier to achieve the accuracy potencial that the standard p08 already has. But most important in my opinion is a decent trigger job.
For the rest, I already find the p08 very well balanced and a natural pointer, so I think that making it front heavy won't add much (or none) to shooting it accuratly. Last edited by kurusu; 12-26-2014 at 11:24 AM. |

Pimp guns. The only thing missing is diamond-encrusted grips and the naked woman engravings.
