Order among chaos!
A quick note to share something quite useful I found recently.
Once you build up a collection, part of the fun is keeping track of it. My first effort was to get paper string tags and put identifying information on them, then attach them to either the gun or it's gun rug in the collection. That has proven not to work well because it's easy for the tag to get torn from the gun or package. Now, a solution. On Ebay, I found plastic tags that have strong and thin strings. Search on this: Hanging Tags Flexible Plastic Waterproof Plant You'll find a source for the pictured tags: I like the 3 by 4.5cm size tags. The cost is under $2.00us per hundred with free shipping from China. These tags stand up to more abuse than the paper ones.

Thanks for the tip. I use tags on my pistol rugs stating make, model, caliber and serial number, these should work better than paper.
