Post Trigger Bar Assembly Removal

I can’t successfully remove the trigger bar assembly from my Luger. And I’m sure as heck not going to try to force it, or otherwise skin my pistol with the small screwdriver I’m using by employing too much force. Here is the picture from the Disassembly section of the forum:

Anyone ever have this problem also? I must be using the wrong approach in removing this pesky little part.

The spring holds the sear captive to the receiver...hold the sear bar stationary... and lift the hook on the spring (arrow "A") and slide it forward over the sear bar in the direction shown (arrow "B")... you can do this with a fingernail if it is not too flimsy or even a stiff piece of plastic that will fit in the hook if you are nervous about scratches... If you are careful, a small screwdriver will do the job nicely...

Once the spring is removed, the sear will come out without a problem.
