Sorry to hear of your loss, our veterans should be mourned by everyone. God bless you and your family in this tragic time. If it were not for brave men and women like your father, we would not be enjoying the freedom we enjoy today.

As the son of a B-24 Radio Gunner in the 445th, who lost his Dad two years ago, I understand what you are going through.
God Bless! |

Dwight,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. No words can properly express the feeling of losing a loved one. If he was anything like his son, certainly he was a great man. Our prayers are with you and your family. Mike |

Dwight my friend, may God bless and comfort you and your family in this loss... I don't even think the "Greatest Generation" is an adequate description for your Dad, and the heroes that fought with him to preserve our freedom.

Very sorry for your loss.
My father-in-law was a B-17 (White Horse; Mr Tacoma) ball turret gunner. He was a POW in Stalag Luft I. You've probably seen this site for Stalag Luft I. http://www.merkki.com |
