Howard,
Only if you buy dinner for the group... Actually...the LV show is not on my dance card this time. Let us all know how the show was... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Could you give me the details of this gun show? Time and location. I am headed over there on some personal business tomorrow and will be there until Sunday. I think I can sneak away for a couple of hours to check it out on Saturday. It would be neat to meet some more forum members.
Thanks. Sid.

I got to go to the show for just a short time. I did get to me Ralph and talk with him for a while. It was a pleasure getting to meet him.
There were only four tables that had Lugers. Ralph's table had a very sweet looking K date that he said that folks kept wanting to buy. It is the K date that he was displaying for our own Mr. Thor. He also had a few S/42's and DWM's on sale plus a couple of artilleries. Mike Jones had four very nice Mauser commemoratives. Three out of the four had the same serial numbers. Pretty cool. There was one other gentleman that had a few Lugers and accessories. It appeared that he did not want to talk to folks much. The last table had 3 Lugers. S/42's. I apologize for not having very many details. It was a last second decision to go and I did not have my trusty notebook with me. But the highlite for me was meeting Ralph. Very much the gentleman. Sid.

Got to the show about 3:00 Friday, Ralph had covered his table and was gone for the day, a few of the over priced Lugers I had seen years before at the old LA Great Western show, were here, one poor luger offered as a police was a forced matched gun with "two matched mags" having been ground flat and renumbered in a very poor manor, at $700 it was not worth it...sorry but this show is one you can miss, nothing like the Reno show that has really grown over the years...we were just in LV for the weekend, had I driven there for the show only it would have been a real bust, than thinking about it, it was not worth the $10 admission fee...eveything is a bit over priced in LV...
