Default Presentation Luger

Wondering if anyone might have a little more information on this? So far I understand that it has Georg Lugers initials on the rear toggle and the serial number 10085 B which also indicates that it was a prototype or presentation piece. The extractor is marked with carregeda. I’m assuming that it went to a Spanish speaking country. The chamber is inlaid with R.S.H 1907 with a 6 inch barrel. I think the gun might be a 1903 going off of Georg Lugers personal Luger serial number 10077B which is a 1903.
Thanks,
Jared

Default Presentation Luger

Hi,
I find it interesting that the serial number of this pistol is 10085B and it has the GL stamp on the rear toggle and we just saw a Luger in Finland( thread 9/28/2024) serial number 10055B also has the GL on the rear toggle. There is also a reference to a Phoenix auction Luger serial number 10100B.
Only if the could talk,

I seem to remember a thread that discussed these guns--their block-style font upper case B suffix, their GL monogram, their commercial-style serial range... Too worn out at the moment to even try to look it up. I hope someone remembers the thread and its pertinent info.

*edit* 10100B and 10085B are listed in Dwight's Commercial Data Base. 10055B is not. Your 10085B is listed as .30 Luger, so something is up... There's an association with Dutch Trials proffered.
