Default Luger with odd barrel/rear sight combo???

Anyone want to take a stab at this combination? I am not familiar with it. The pistol is available locally a couple hours from me and I’m unsure if I want to drive all the way out to look at it.

Thoughts?

Looks like an artillery Luger with home-brewed sights. Heavily buffed and re-blued. Might make a good shooter.

I'd say worth ~$600-$700...You can do better...

If nothing else it looks the part of a great shooter to take to the range.

Thanks for the replies. I never know if something is what I call an asterisk item. ‘A lot of seventy four Lugers from such and such were ordered by entity X and as such are worth twelve times the normal price.’ It’s probably my Mosin Mentality to never rule out something odd until the gallery of oracles has been consulted.

This one is probably going to go for far more than a refinished artillery with questionable parts would be worth.

That is probably the most agressively buffed luger I have ever seen.
As Rich said, you can do better! but I'd reduce the value by a few hundred $$.

I would not drive to see it, the picture tells you what you "need to know"; the magazine may be the most valuable(if un-messed with) part.
