Default Luger in a movie

I watched the old James Bond movie Goldfinger and in the opening sequence which has nothing to do with the rest of tthe movie, the bad guy done in by Bond looks to have a Luger in his holster. It is never drawn and only one quick shot after he is dead shows the bottom of the grip but it looks like a Luger. The rest of the movie has P-38's and revolvers.
