Heads up - Sarco return/warranty or lack there of
I've bought several, 4 to be exact, of the Sarco navy type rear sight with toggle. I use these for building navy clone shooters. In 2018, I bought two- since they had been out of stock for a while- and put them away for future use.
Last month built a navy shooter and the aperture/bridge/slide part of the sight broke when test fired. Contacted Sarco about a "warranty", since it was a new part- even though I had it awhile. It is now a $265 part and then was $225, so they are not cheap- but they are cast not forged and machined like the originals were. Long story short, after much discussion and near 30 minutes of Muzak, if it has been more than 30 days- one is out of luck. They won't do anything. No replacement, no discount for a new part , it is yours- or in this case mine. Moral of this story, if if you buy a part from Sarco, use it and test it right away- or you are on your own.

I thought of that.
But it would probably break too!

No, I prefer to "bad mouth" Sarco.
They should have done the right thing and replaced it; I should not have to be dishonest to break even. JMHO.
