Son, heading to Norway on 8-21-18
Okay, totally off-topic, apologize in advance.
My son, age 35 - who has spent his life primarily overseas, is going to do some 'blogging' as he travels the 'world' - He'll do Facebook, Instagram and some stuff I do not know. Background - He lived in the Netherlands while his old man was in the army for 7 yrs, joined the army in 2002, went to Kuwait (technically a 'war zone' at that time - Diesel Mechanic - Iraq for a year - then got out (at my urgering) and took a job in Iraq for about a year and half - then took a job in Kuwait for about 8 months. Got him to go to college, he loves college like I love math. He joined the Army Reserves, new MOS, Psychological Operations - hearts and minds stuff. Went to Afghanistan for a year. Moved to Oregon and went back to college; offered a position as a Diesel Mechanic in Afghanistan and paid off all bills the last 18 months! ------ Today, he has had enough of living under the army and rules and he is going to travel. My thoughts - as an aspiring 'blogger' he plans (I think) on going to interesting places, eat interesting foods, meet mostly interesting folks. Even if old folks like me or you! Anyone interested in following him as he travels, I will pass along. But right now, any collectors in Norway, well, he will be there this Tuesday and hes much more personable than me, nicer looking and a generally good guy Not expecting anything from anybody, but ideas or if he's in your area? More later |

If he is going to blog, we will need a URL at some point...

Some pictures - he looks colder than when he was in Afghanistan (although it gets cold there too!)
