Additions after the Luger
included a .38 Regulation Police, a WWII Colt .45 Replica with original scroll marks and martial markings (the second most accurate pistol I own with PMC Hardball), a Taurus Raging Bull in .44 Magnum and a Springfield Mil Spec .45 Auto.
Only the Luger and the WWII Colt Replica proved accurate. The Luger is the most accurate with Gecco hardball. And the .38 Regulation is a revolver's dream (but not as accurate as the Luger or Colt WWII Replica). Moral of the story? I like my Luger and think the WWII Lugers had something we have lost lately. And now the Colt Industry recognizes this with their WWII replica of their .45 Colt Auto! I sold the Taurus and the Springfield. I kept the WWII Colt and the .38 Regulation Police. The WWII Colt is second in accuracy to the Luger. It is also 100% reliable. No flared ejection port. No high visible sights. No "custom" additions; but more reliable and accurate than any Kimber or whatever. Tell me the moral of this message! What worked in WWII is better than what we have now for thousands of dollars more! |
