Borchardt on Guns America
http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976523829.htm
Here is the ad's text write-up " " VERY EARLY BORCHARDT PISTOL WITH MATCHING SHOULDER STOCK, CHEEK PIECE AND MAGAZINE. How early is early? The serial number is 9X. This is the lowest numbered Borchardt pistol we have every had or seen in person. The original finish is beautiful with only slight wear to the front sight barrel band bluing. There is a little frost in places on the pistol with the grip straps being lightly frosted overall. The bore is mirror with the slightest frosting visible. The grips retain almost all of the original varnish. The matching numbered shoulder stock and cheek piece are beautiful as can be seen in the photos. Early and one of the best!! " |

That is a lovely and desirable Borchardt. I once owned serial number 72. I am away from my list right now but I am sure there are at least a half dozen lower numbers than that.
