Holster Repair
I have an Artillery Holster that is missing the Button to secure the Flap. Does anyone know of someone who repairs Holsters and does quality work?

Re: Holster Repair
Charlie J. at Riverbend Sports could certainly have this done for you, but adding a ferrel to your LPO8 holster flap would be a post WW1 type conversion, only done if the holster was to be worn on the belt without stock. For these holsters to be attached to the original stock, there was a piece of leather that had the ferrel (colsure stud) attached to the stock by 4 wood screws and it looped over the top of the stock and holster to be secured by the closure strap and helped hold the top of the holster in place on the stock. I do have repros of this piece available for $15. If your LPO8 holster is a nice original, I wouldn't modify it by adding a stud, as it would decrease its value. Tom
