Nice German Holster
Hello Guys,
Just received this nice holster I have bought in Germany. I like the leather works they made. Do you like it? Have fun, Mauro

Mauro,
That's a beautiful holster. I like the oak leaf tooling pattern. Very nice indeed. Ron

Mauro, YES! Very nice..I like the sharp pointed leather edge projections on the top and the inside edge. Very innovative and artistically interesting.
Like Ron says, the tooling is beautifully German. Jerry Burney

Mauro, very nice.
Acorn patterns are not that popular in the Netherlands, though. Basically because the Dutch name for acorn is 'Eikel', and that word is also used to refer to certain genital parts and people with limited brain capacity |

Nice looking holster! Kind of an Old West flavor but with oak leaf instead of floral scroll tooling.

Mauro, a very nice holster. Like Ron says, it's got an almost western flavor to it, perhaps inspired by Karl May.

Hi Ed,
You're not too far off the mark. 'Eekhoorn', pronounced like 'acorn', is indeed a Squirrel. Not too dissimilar from the German 'Eichhorn'. |

I have encountered a few presentation PP and PPK that were chased with the same pattern. Distilled Germania, pure and simple,
