Fake Holster
I defer to the experts that it is a fake. However the stitching looks uniform and very authentic compared to most of the repos I have seen before. What gives it away?

And the mix of brand new finished areas right next to areas of wear.
And the totally unused tool pocket. And the brand new unmolested or worn knot on the end of the pull up strap. And the stitching does not look period... it is TOO uniform. And the back side of the closure strap looks brand new, and the front side looks like it has been opened a couple of hundred times. And unequal wear on the belt loops. The top one show wear in the middle of the loop. The bottom one looks like wear at the top of the loop... how do you do that except on purpose? And finally the inside of the lid shows no wear from rubbing on the grip checkering, so when exactly did all this wear occur?.... why on the fake cobblers bench of course... ( or dragged behind the pickup truck as suggested by Doug...)

The biggest fake sign to me is the exposed inside belt loop stitching. It actually is a well made fake, but still a fake. It is to bad because Otto Sindel was a premiere holster manufacturer. Bill
