NAPCA Convention
I was thinking about attending the NAPCA convention. Since Chattanooga, Tn is a long way from Michigan, I thought that I would take my motorhome and stay in that while there. I called the hotel and they said that I could not stay in the parking lot behind the hotel but that there was a parking lot across the street. The manager said that the hotel is in the city and that the parking lot was open. That scared me a little bit. Is there anyone here who takes a motorhome to this convention and stays in it? How safe is it?

Hello Norm,
I have a friend who does take a motorhome to shows. But he always takes his wife and/or a buddy and somethimes both; so someone can stay with the coach at all times (with a concealed piece, as well...). Especially important if collection-guns might be left in the coach... They use walkie-talkies to "spell" each other, etc... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Pete,
I am taking my big, bad, junkyard dog. My dachshund Bucky. But I am not married and I usually go alone. I find that this gives me considerable freedom in developing a buying strategy and tactic in a given situation. I sometimes develope something weird, but fun, that enables me to buy something I want at a reasonable price. Having someone else around sometimes destroys the fun that I am having. Some people just take buying Lugers too serious and they miss opportunities. They attack it like it is their job. Gotta hang loose. Plus, I have the freedom to leave early or stay longer. Few people have that freedom. Big Norm |
