Thor,
You do beautiful work. What color paint do you use for restoring the GESICHERT? It looks so perfect and aged on every Luger you do. I've tired several different colors (ivory, sand, etc) but it never looks right. - Geo

I just mix them until they look right to me. An offwhite or aged white for Mauser and a dirty tan for DWM Erfurt, Simsons, etc I have no receipe, just use you eyes and look at originals
