Default Value of my Luger?

Its a pretty rough looking gun. It sometimes takes 2-3 trigger pulls before it will fire and has some mismatched numbers. I bought it years ago at my local fun store and mainly just bought it for s**ts and giggles.

Here are some pics.

Thanks for all the help.

I can provide more detailed pics.

1. I see it had a magazine safety at one time, but can't tell if it had a sear safety.
2. Nickled 1917 with a 1920 property stamping

Does it have a circle S on the left? If it does, I'd be interested in it if you're looking to sell.

That's gotta be at least an $ 800 gun...that special factory-finish ordered up for coastal-police units...

Ed,

Just about any Luger in good working order will fetch $ 800 in my parts of No. CA.

Just drop into some of the local shops here. They would probably price this one higher and let a guy dicker-down some...

Yes I do believe it does have a S inside of a Circle on the left side right near the barrel. I'm not at home right now but, I will definitely check on that whenever I get home.
