Unusually white stitching given the leather’s distressed state - I wonder what grade was used on the wood plank?

Even if it were authentic, which it ain't..who would want it in that condition?
It has been hard used by some reinactor group. Rolling around in the rain & mud. My boots in Viet Nam didn't look that bad after 6 months! Jerry Burney
