Have Luger values gone up a bit over the last year?
It seems they've edged up a bit, with folks asking $1400-$2000 for matching (except mag) guns in decent original condition. IIRC, the asking price was around $1000-1800 this time last year.
Or am I mistaken? Just wondering. I'm sure they fluctuate from year to year, though. |

Jim,
In my opinion, Luger values have gone down in the past year or so. I can remember very well a nice 1906 9mm American Eagle would fetch upwards of $4000.00 at an auction or from one of the better known dealers. A nice artillery Luger would bring $3200.00 to $3800.00; now one can be had for $2500.00 or so. Contrary to that the shooter prices have gone up a bit. $500.00 shooter were fairly easy to come by a few years ago, but now I see none at that price. I guess it all depends on which Luger you are looking for. Mike |
