1909 P08 Holster
I Picked up a 1909 Luger holster to go along with a First Issue
P08. I kinda have an idea on the markings in the inside flap but I would like to see what you guys think? The maker is faded out a little and it sort of looks like Franz? possibly, then Cobau, Berlin. Also the inside of the holster is signed but I can't make the name out. Thanks in advance!

Hi Dave, Your 1909 holster is quite a find. As you suspected, the maker is Franz Cobau, Berlin. The B.A.VII mark stands for Bekleidungs-Abeilung #7, the clothing depot that supplied the 7th Armee-Korps, based in Westphalia. I can't help with the hand written inscription. Regards, Norm
