Questions, questions, questions....Fin marked P08 holster
I have an SA marked Luger holster coming for my Finnish militaria collection. In typical Finnish fashion, it is modified/repaired by substituting what appear to be heavy duty rivets in place of some stitching. You just gotta love the Finn of that era......if it ain't broke use it......if it is broke, fix it and use it.
Considering their army was never very large anyway, can I assume this would be rather rare?

Scarse but not rare. As you mention, the Finns are practical and when they are truly done with something, they don't toss or destroy it, they sell it! As a consequence, there is a lot of Finn stuff floating around the surplus market.

I agree, not common, but far from rare
You see some nice SA holsters and I too like the field repaired ones.
