Post holster id

what would be the significance of four star shaped metal 'thingys' abouve two round-"target shaped" metal discs that have another star shaped piece between them?, if some-one could tell me how to post a scanning of it I could show you.

Walter, here is a tutorial that was put together, and that can help. Try to scan it in, either at a higher resolution and crop and make it smaller or at a smaller resolution and then post it here.

I assume these are on a holster. If it is a Luger holster, I can pretty well say that they are not anything put on by the German or any other army. They sound like the kind of decorations some GIs put on captured holsters just for the heck of it.

As for a photo, look at the "Upload Photos" at the left. Read the instructions a couple of times. Of course, you will need a photo taken with a digital camera or scanned in and saved in a file in your computer. There is a 180kb limit, so you may have to scale the picture to that level using Photo Shop or some other photo software.
