Hi Joe, the double magazine holster is worth a bunch. But the magazines are not WWI since they are blued. They should be nickel finished. The price so far is wat too high, IMHO

Frank,

I didn't catch those blued magazines but I am learning.

There are three more listed. One is sharp, one is rough and one is sharp but appears to be PATENT LEATHER (???????).

The bottom one above appears "too new".

Seems I inadvertently listed one twice. The "patent leather" one is listed below:

Anybody have any thoughts about the originality of this one. Maybe it was for an honor guard or something. Or maybe it has initials "AH" on back!

The first bunch are goat skin Paki crapola from the 1960's; the second one seems to be a pretty nice arty

Thanks for your input but I am a little confused as to which one you say seems to be pretty nice.

Could you give me the last four digits of the eBay number please.

Thanks again,

Joe Hill

Hello Joe,

If you bid on the one that "lugerholsterrepair" (i.e. one of our LF members) is also bidding on, you can usually be sure it is a righteous piece of leather... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Just a begginer tip I learned a while ago. Trick is to learn other LF member "names" that they use on the auction sites...

Pete,

That's good advice but I am reluctant to bid against a forum member.

Hope your PC didn't crash from those big pictures.

Joe, I try not to bid against other members also, but if it is something I want.... Well, and it is something YOU want, then by god bid on it.

If I see Jerry, Wes or Russ is bid on something, or Jim, or Tom, well, I have e-mailed and asked them if they want it, and they have asked me the same thing.

But, it comes down to this, if you need it for your collection, bid on it. On the other hand, it is amazing, once you get into it, you will see that "rare" item come up at a gun show or on e-bay. I just got a police cleaning kit, saw one much like it at Reno for $100, got one for around $20 on e-bay, once I get it, I will post it. I hope it is Weimar, might be post-WW2, and that is okay also!
