Herb, it is merely a typo. He meant consecutive serial numbers.

Hey Wes and Herb in skool they taught us median and circumfrance (they also taught us phonetics) and now I am supposed to think Lugers came with consecutive numberings!

<img src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" border="0" alt="[bigbye]" /> Too much learning from you guys, that is for sure.

{{nice pictures though aren't they.
Blown up is that really a 2 or is it a sloppy 1?}}

Edward,

That is a "2". And also that is a "1". Side by side, no less!

heh, heh

Was "hoping for the seller I was seeing it wrong".

Who was it that said, disregard it as perfect, when someone says "Its all matching except..."

And here we go again, black plastic grips on 1940 Luger. They Luger it in Jan Still's book which say %20 of the 1940 were black plastic grips. Yes, I know this is incorrect. But this guy left off the 0 and says only %2 had plastic grips.

These grips don't look original, especially the right grip.

Tracy, I heard that! The daughter in law says it was 103 degrees in Sacramento today, that ought to warm up those politicians!
