Strange GB Luger
Another strange bird for the record books, with what looks like giant flaming bomb proofs all over it.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=291023015 Font on TD lever doesnt match font above it on frame. Barrel apparently not serialed. Stock lug. It looks refinished. 7.65... Check out the magazine. any ideas? Clark

Those are Belgian proofs. No doubt reworked and refinished quite some time ago when it was brought in country. Belgium, like England, requires all firearms not made in country to be proofed by the national proof house(s).
