Default Nickle tube Magazines

I have a 1937 S42. What is the correct magazine? A blue tube with an alumin base (Eagle 63 marked) or a nickle tube with an alumin base (Eagle 63 marked). What year did they change from nickle tube to the blue tube.

Thanks, Jim

They changed from nickle plated to blue in mid 1936.
