LP production numbers
Gentlemen,
I am hopefully in the process of acquring an artillery Luger. There are two complete rigs out there, I hope to end up with one of them. All I know is that one is 1915 and one is 1917, I have no clue whether they are DWM or Erfurt. Now, does anybody know how many were made in general and in those two years in particular - and by whom? Erfurt made LP.08s only in 1914. Figures from Still's books estimates DWM production of 15,000 in 1915, 90,000 in 1917.

I suggest after you have seen them you post photos of both pistols and their "rigs". The answer to relative value may well lie in the "rigs" not the pistols.
