Rumors of my death slightly exaggerated
Back at my desk briefly to catch up on email and then back to bed for another day or two.
Checked into the hospital last Thurs. four pints low due to a bleeding ulcer I did not know about. Damn near bought the farm. Released last night, OK now, just very weak. Hope to continue annoying all of you a while longer.

David, best of health to you. We (my family) faced some health issues this last 2 months, it is very disconcerting. Take care, quit stressing, relax. Easier said than done I know...

Dave,
It's the anxiety of trying to buy them all at once. Relax, there are always more. And you can't have them all. I know I've tried... Hope things improve for you. Ron

Four pints low! You need to check your dipstick a little more often! Glad you are up and about now and best wishes for continued recovery.
Ron

Wow!! Welcome back David. Try and and take life easy for a few days and see if you can shed any of the stress that might have caused that ulcer. 4 pints low is serious stuff.

David, glad to have you back among the living. That was close!!
I've posted a reply to your question about the BS marking on your Ortgies on the main gunboards forum. Not much info, however.

Dave, I'm sorry for your close call but glad that's what it was and not a direct hit.
I hope the docs fix you up right and you can come back to increase your gun collection before you croak and will it all to me... Seriously though, get well soon.
