Swiss 1900 Parabellum E number

I have a nice 1900 Swiss DWM Parabellum found with E number.

The serial number is E 6xx

What is the value of this E Parabellum?

Does anyone know more about Swiss E Parabellum?

post clear pictures of everything / include serial etc if you'd like some guesses on value

Congratulations, you have one of the few E-series around. FYI, I have E609.

The E-series was produced fairly early in the First Swiss contract. They were used for various purposes among which was training. They were also used as presentation pieces to various officials were were instrumental in the Swiss awarding this contract to DWM as well as prizes, awards, etc. Thus there is speculation about what the "E" stands for as several German words could apply.

Most of the E-series guns were eventually integrated into service. They were refurbished and renumbered with an A-prefix.

These guns, along with the A-prefix guns are a neat, but small variation in the history of the Swiss military.
