Pete, there's not that much rust for having been "dug up" but it otherwise looks legitimate.

Shortened ?
Noted this in the description:
"I don't know if someone made a big mistake trying to restore it, but I understand that it was heavily caked with built up rust and the proof was not even visible. I think the screwdriver end was shortened and reshaped." Any comments from these camera angles, with the relationships of height to width to make a reasonable guess if the "restore" included grinding on the blade? Thanks, Fritz. |
