Thought I would post a photo of this very sexy luger holster...

Photo is from Eugene Bender's book, Luger Holsters & Accessories of the 20th. Century, on page 542.

Saw one for sale at Bob Simpson's shop for $ 600.00 asking...these puppies must be rare..

Regards,

Pete... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" />

Pete,
There is an excellent color photo of a slightly different variation of the Audley holster in Kenyon's "Luger: The Multinational Pistol". It clearly shows the spring clip that engages the triggerguard to secure the gun in the holster. To draw the gun from the holster, you depress the spring with your trigger finger. Better have the safety on when you holster the gun! One slip of the finger from the spring clip onto the trigger could have dire consequences. Could be why the Audley is so rare today! Pete, I have a variety of Audley type holsters available for other pistols in the $50 to $75 range, but I've seldom seen any available for the luger. Tom H.
