Reno show
I agree with Pete and Ed, this is probably the biggest show you will find, lots of Lugers for sale but you had better know something about them. There are honest sellers there and some downright crooks. I once found a dealer with several Lugers, one a 1920/1938, I asked him about it, even tho he had several Lugers he said he didn't know much about them so the dates didn't mean much to him. Watch out! There are some real sharks there just waiting for thier next meal. Meet up with the guys at Russes' table, if you need some guidence you can usually find it there..

Herb: I will be at the Reno show, possibly with a 99% 2nd generation Colt. Maybe I can do some good on a Luger.

You just might find someone to trade with, but watch out, lots of funny things are going on with Lugers lately. Lots of 'rare' markings showing up.

Russ: I will look for you at your table. I can't tell when I will be able to go. I work for a railroad, so I have no "schedule" of days off. Where will the dinner be on Friday? I may also have a Rem model 722 .257 Roberts to sell. At any rate I hope to see you there. It is always a great show. George

Hello George,
Dinner on Friday night is also at the Hilton...at their Steakhouse restaurant. We try to get a head-count of folks joining us for dinner during the show on Friday afternoon so we can make reservations for dinner to make sure we get one of their banquet tables. We normally try to get a 6-6:30 pm time slot. See you at the show ! Regards, Pete... |

I will be attending the show, and would like to join you all for dinner, even though I have yet to be able to buy a Luger.
I plan on it, but with a wife and 2 teenagers, I keep asking "What is money" ?

All going to the Reno show :
I will have a dinner sign-up sheet at Russ/Ken's tables (A-13/A-14). Please stop by and sign up and leave a cell. phone number if you have one. By 2 pm, we will have our dinner head-count and we can place a dinner reservation for 6-6:30 pm timeframe for our Friday night event. Look forward to seeing many LF members, new and old, at the show... Good luger hunting ! Regards, Pete... |
