AE Holster
Bought this 4 3/4" Holster today. Seller represented it as a holster for the 1900 AE Lugers. Fits the AE like a glove. No markings that I can find, no damage or bad spots. I wasn't actively looking for one of these so I did no studying on them. Kinda figured by the age, and perfect fit it was the real deal. What say you holster experts? Is this an example of a holster used on the AE Lugers, or did I goof?

Looks like a nice commercial holster. The pattern on the tool pouch snap is typical of older commercial items. Looks good to me. Bill

I was hoping one of the pros would chime in, thanks Bill! Found at our local collectors show, probably paid too much, was $300.

Maybe another variant. Mine has no place for the cleaning rod either. But yours does not show the design on the tool pouch snap. Different makers? Different years?

Several variations are possible but they are all prewar. The right has the same design of the pouch snap.
