Help I.D. Police Holster
Friend has this holster for a long time. It appears to be a military holster converted to a police holster. Everything seems to be original and factory done. On the top flap there appears to be a "P08r." and the numbers 1885 right where the stud is installed. On the back of holster I can read "WWSu" over 1931 and then a Waffenamt Eagle under the 1931 date. Any info would be appreciated.

The mark under the stud could be P.P.Br. (Polizei-Präsidium Breslau) but I have never seen another such mark. Anything stamped on the right-rear?

It's also a Military holster that was converted to Police configuration.

I have seldom to never seen one marked here either, whether army or police. And to have the stud there, I would say army marked ahead of the conversion.
You also don't see ones made in the 30's to be converted - in fact a 1931 date is pretty odd date too, army and police...

Don, it also looks like it is a SU waffen marking under the eagle?
