Default 2014 Photo Shoot

Default 2014 Photo Shoot.
It was minus 14 degrees when I woke up this morning, so even though the outdoor lap pool in town is heated, I decided to forego my daily swim and spend the day giving the gun collection it's annual cleaning and inspection. These 11 are my permanent Navy collection, there are also 4 others, former place keepers, that I'm going to have to get around to selling, one of these days.
From the top, and going clockwise they are:
1/ 1906 Navy 1st Issue Alt. #1555, unit marked II.T.D./1579. (double matched magazine).
2/ 1906 Navy 1st Issue Alt. #6183, unit marked W.D./211. (matching magazine).
3/ 1906 Navy 1st Issue Alt. #6713, unit marked W.D./288.
4/ 1906 Navy 1st Issue Unaltered #3274a, unit marked W.K./947.
5/ 1906 Navy 1st Issue Alt. #7559a, unit marked W.W./537.
6/ 1906 Navy 2nd Issue #9707a.
7/ 1908 Navy #4319b.
8/ P08 Navy #39, 1st variation, (rarest of the rare, one of only three known).
9/ 1916 Navy #4064.
10/ 1917 Navy #898, (beechwood grips).
11/ 1917 Navy #5302.
Regards to all, Norm

Fantastic, a total of 15 Navy Lugers and all in one collection, I think I may have come close to causing a short in my keyboard from all the drooling after looking at your photo, absolutely beautiful. I have been on the lookout for a nice, correct, Navy Luger for awhile now but I believe it takes a fairly knowledgeable person to discern a "correct" Navy from one that has been boosted by a devious and skilled craftsman but I will keep looking and ask plenty of questions when I think I may have found one.

Hi Steve, The Navies that are no longer part of my "permanent collection" all have issues/problems. On the one hand, I don't want them, and on the other, I don't feel comfortable selling them to a forum member. Still interested? You, or anyone else can email me and I'll tell you what I have available.
Regards, Norm
