You may also want to try "LugerDoc". He ruined me with this C/96. "Lugerholsterrepairer" would be someone to contact for some custom leather. Between the 2 of them, they got me suspended from my gun club for firing this pistol on the rifle range. =). Congrats on your purchase. These are really fun, accurate, weapons.

Ed, glad you said it.... I was tempted, but thought a moderator might "bleep" me.

Hey Gerben, A nice one! I'm still looking for a 96 rig that I can afford.
Congratulations! Ron

Well,
Finally got the thing home and it's not bad at all. It appears to be a 'pre-war commercial' variation, which has been used quite well, several small parts have been replaced. Serial number 206306, with lazy crown/U on the chamber side and a small M / Crown on the bottom of the barrel. Bore is not bad at all, grips are pretty good for their age, so is the stock. The stock has a different number altogether, but is real. |

Glen...Would you Email me that photo of your rig with the stripper clip pouch and harness? It would look really nice in my photo archives! Thanks, Jerry
