Frame identifiction

I have a couple of frames I will be selling. I could use a little help to identify them. The Blued steel one has M550 stamped on the back end. The chromed one has no markings I can see other then an inscription. Any help will be appreciated.

From the pictures, the chrome frame has the Mauser "hump"; the blued pistol shows nothing that suggests that it is anythingt other than DWM.

One is surely a Mauser, the other one no idea.

Maybe this is not a mismatched pile of parts. here are photos of the rest of the parts. Could they possibly belong together? The barrel and extension are in the white. Possibly in someones attempt to remove the plating? Since the barrel has the remnants of a serial number that actually matches, as do all the parts. I am putting up photos of the rest of the parts. What do you think? The extension is a tight fit in the frame and has some dings and file marks.

It was a tough decision, Its box mate is pretty nice as well.

Hi Lynn, If I'm not mistaken, the receiver (not the toggle train) shown in the first photo of post #5, is from an Imperial Luger. Judging from the size of the rear toggle axle, which appears to be the large flanged Naval type, than from either a 1908 model or a 1916/17 dated. Better photos would help.

Here are more, hopefully better pictures. I have also included one of the inscription. It is tough to get good pictures of shiny things. even the tiny blue light on my webcam shows up.

Hi Lynn, Thanks for the photos, they confirm my suspicion that the receiver is from a 1908 or 1916/17 dated Navy. In addition to the Naval inspection marks on the left receiver, the hole for the rear toggle axle is recessed for the distinctive large flanged Navy axle (see photo). It's too bad it's been messed with, Imperial Navy components are rare.

That clears up that question. Off to eBay and GB with it... I still would like to know what the markings on the rear of the blued receiver are all about.
