Post I be bangin

Well, I been bangin. I went shooting yesterday afternoon, rifles and pistols, wore my thumb out loading luger mags, I tried the loading tool, but was afraid my thumb would slip off and launch the tool. Accuracy winner, Henry .22. Most fun, k98k(my opinion),nylon 66(kids opinion). Hardest kicker,Tie between 03 springfeild and M44 Russian,(kids passed on these). Loudest(we all had gun muffs on) M44. As to pistols; Accuracy winner, Ruger single-six. Most fun, Luger 42. Hardest recoil, Sistema Colt. Loudest, Sistema Colt. Overall most popular gun,Luger 42.
So where did Luger's get the bad rep. for reliability anyhow?

Stevie.

Thumbs up

I'd say that the bad reputation came from the abused ones !

Abused and worn magazines also bear much of the blame for the Luger's reliability reputation. Keep 'em clean and lubricated and use a known good magazine and they will provide much shooting
accuracy satisfaction, AND reliability.
