luger jamming and safety grip jamming
Hello everyone,
My name is Joshua and I am an Idonesian, I was reading the messages and found out that my luger has the same problem with jamming after 3rd or 4th round. By the way, my luger is placed in the owner's corner, the dutch luger. And the safety grip behind the grip handle is kind of 'sunk' in and could not function again. Does anyone knows the answer to these question and on how to fix the safety grip, please? Thank You Very Much Joshua |

Re: luger jamming and safety grip jamming
Joshua,
If you will remove the left grip, you can see how the grip safety works. There is a small leaf spring that makes the safety return to the "out" position. If this spring is broken or has slipped so that it is not pushing the safety out, the grip safety will remain next to the backstrap. Sometimes the wood of the grip will swell and rub against the safety and keep it from working correctly. If the grip safety lever springs out when you remove the left grip, then this is the problem. A small amount of wood removal in the place where it is rubbing will correct the problem. |
