VoPo range results
Finally got to the range with my VoPo P08 today. Fired off about 50 rounds of Winchester 115g fmj. The results were very nice. Very accurate and pleasant to shoot. Hang up cycling the second round but flawless after that. First time I have fired any of the 3 Lugers I own. Hooked now and want to do a comparison of the 3 next time I go out.

The target says 10 yds....not to be a jerk, but that's no test of handgun accuracy.....that group is possible with a slingshot....25yds is a standard that most folks use for accuracy comparison.

The first pic is of the FIRST 7 rounds I ever fired from one of my Lugers. Was happy with performance. Was not meaning to brag about my markmanship within slingshot range. LOL
This is of 20 yards (60 ft) same day same gun. Bottom right corner is mine. My buddy got all 7 on paper aiming at center with my pisto but scattered them. He did much better with his PT92. Sorry it is still short of the 25 yard standard. P.S. Sorry for using a rifle target... |

Not a bad shot group for your first try at shooting a Luger, even at 10 yards.

VOPO Range Results
Here are some pictures of range results from a Luger that we rebarreled.... in Canada,to make it legal,a barrel of 110 mm long or longer has to be installed.....I think a Luger could probably shoot 1" groups at 25 yards in the right conditions?!....this test target was shot at 10 meters

I am going to assume that you were shooting your Luger free hand, either one handed or two. If that is the case, your targets look good to me for your first outing with a Luger that you knew nothing about.
