There is an interesting Persian Luger for sale on gunbroker that I thought that someone might be interested. Give me your thoughts and comments on the pistol.

As usual, I have no connection with these folks. Just thought it is an interesting variation.

Does anyone have a Persian Luger that they might share information/pictures with us?

Here is a very special Presentation Persian Luger that is now in the collection of Bob Adams...

This Luger was first made public on the Lugerforum by the previous owner (George) several years ago, and he enlisted our help in evaluating it's value.

As I recall, he was either a relative or friend of a relative of General Evans to whom this Luger was presented by the Shah of Iran.

I think I recall this gun being sold in excess of $6000.00 for it's historical signifigance...

The one rig that Simpsons have for sale seems to be a better investment...Simpson's asking is $ 7500 for the entire rig with 2 magazines and holster, cleanig rod, and ammo...while Tom/Ralph at PIA are asking $ 6500 for a much more worn pistol...and only a pistol...

I think the unique Simpsons holster could sell for $800 or higher...just by itself...

The one shown in the pic sold for 3,480 Euros; approx. U.S. $ 4,200 just recently.
The dealer claims to have 2 more complete rigs under consignment, but they are not yet up for sale.
