Default Need help on a 1917

I am considering purchasing this DWM 1917 with holster. Outside of the mag being incorrect I would like to know if something else doesnt match. I also didnt take the pictures and they are not to clear.
Thanks

Holster looks converted from a stock type to belt carry. Seems to be a period conversion.

You will not know if all matches on the pistol untill you are able to take it apart and look at every piece. It cannot be done even with good photo's. Jerry Burney

The price is $2,100 so I am not sure if its worth it at this point.

The holster is in the $300-$400 range...That leaves $1700 for the pistol. One has to want an Artillery pretty badly. I certainly wouldn't pay that for anything less than a 100% matching pistol in better than excellent shape. This one dosen't even have a correct period magazine. Lots of money...But then I'm cheap. I am sure there are members who think the price is reasonable.

If gun all matched . it does not seem to be a bad price these days. I like Jerry remember when no one wanted these. But I beleive that "Was long ago and far away" If you want a matched "Arty" I say go for it. We old timers can't seem to beleive the prices anymore.

We look forward to seeing quality photos that you make when you get the pistol... and your report on whether or not the gun is truely matching...

Best of luck to you.
