Ammunition Prices
I was at a gunshow here in Melbourne yesterday and I heard from one of the vendors that there was going to be a price increase on ammo starting Aug 1. He said it could be as high as 37%, something about the increasing cost of brass and such. Has anyone else heard such a rumour?
With the cost of gasoline ever on the rise, we the consumer are eventully going to take the hit on all fronts when it comes to prices on all products.

Here I am seeing about 7% or so, some ammo is scarce like the 7.62x39, but ammo at my dealer level is going up, and it seems that dealer type catalogs are near useless as prices are rising faster them new catalogs come out, there has also be a small raise in UPS shipping and a monster increase in their insurance costs.

I figured he was being truthful, but I just wanted to make sure he wasn't fibbing in order to make a bigger sale.
