Post Wolf 9mm 115 gr.

Have you used this ammo before, I believe its Russian. Anyways, after shooting a couple of mags through your Luger did you notice this pollen looking gunk all in you breech and such areas? Be wary about shooting this ammo if you haven't shot it yet. And if you have shot this ammo; tell me about your experiences with it.

Thanks

Avoid WOLF ammo at all costs! Squibs & double charges are all too frequent. Even though the newer Russian ammo is non-corrosive & uses mild steel cases... it's tough on extractors, gums up the chamber with lacquer & STINKS!!! It's filthy ammo. I shoot the Barnaul, Russian 7,62x39mm round which is actually pretty good stuff... but only in my Hungarian AMD-65 AKM variant... as that is what it was *designed* to shoot.
You might as well spend a few bucks more for the Wallyworld/ Winchester 100rd "bulk-packs" of 115gr fmj 9mm. It's a real bargain... IMHO!

Wolf .223 won't eject in my H&R .223 bull barrel varmit gun. Laquer cases stick. Shoots good otherwise.

I'm one of the guys that had an overpressure Wolf round. It jammed in the chamber of my S&W 3914 and I had to do a lot of pounding on a rod in the barrel to open up the gun. The removed case was quite oversize and the primer sort of flat. Fortunately, the S&W gun works fine now and fortunately the round wasn't fired in a delicate 100 year old Luger.

Get the 100 round Wallymart Winchester ammo. $10.95/100 rounds, about the same as Wolf and a lot more reliable.

I use the winchester ammo, just wanted to try something different. Big mistake though.
