Default Mitchell luger marked "Made in Santa Ana, CA"

Hi guys,

In the early 1990s, I saw a brand new Mitchell's stainless Luger. I'm pretty positive it had "Made in Santa Ana, CA" printed on the side. I've been looking for one like it ever since. All I see are the "Made in Houston, Texas" versions. Am I just remembering it wrong? I know it has "Santa Ana, CA" on the side of the box. Has anyone seen a "Made in Santa Ana" marked model?
I'm just wondering if I'm chasing something that doesn't exist?

Thanks!

I just finished reading about Mitchell's Luger in John Walter's "The Story of the World's Most Famous Handgun."

According to Walter, it's suspected no more than a few dozen guns were made by Mitchell before (as I read the text) production in Santa Ana was abandoned.

So, it seems the Santa Ana Mitchell exists, but is extremely rare.
