Default Help

Hello!

I would need the help of experts, the Luger is the legacy of soldiers from the Second World War, I tried to figure out what year and which model would be but I'm not sure.

your pistol is made up from the parts of at least two different Lugers. The gun has been refinished which dramatically reduces its value to a collector. The model number of the luger is P.08 (Pistole 1908, which is the year of adoption by the German Army). Because the chamber appears to marked "41" the year of production is 1941 for the upper receiver only.

The Toggle is marked DWM, which was no longer in business in 1941. The upper receiver was manufactured by Mauser. DWM was a WW1 era manufacturer of the Luger.

The two digit number "47" on the toggle parts indicate the last two digits of the serial number of the Luger from which these parts came. Hence two different donor pistols for these parts. The gun would be classifed as a refinished shooter grade, and the USA market value would be around $650-750.00 or less, depending on who was buying...

You should shoot and enjoy owning this pistol...

Welcome to the Lugerforum.
