Keeper straps restoration.
Gentlemen,
I recently purchased this Artillery stock boot on Ebay. It is Maury 1916 stamped, imperial proofed, and in great shape. Unfortunately the keeper strap was broken (1st photo). Please have a look on the other photos... ...Yes, it is the same boot. The keeper strap has been replaced. This is really an astonishing job, made with the highest surgical precision. Of course you all have recognized the talented expertise of Jerry Burney. What should I add ?.....congratulations to you Jerry for this excellent job, once again, and as usual.. ..and THANK YOU very much ! christian (photos 2,3,4, by Jerry Burney for my archives, and posted without his authorization..). |
