Default 1920 DWM Serial Numbering Question

To all,

I have been examining a 1920 DWM (new designation--formerly 1923 Commercial) 5-digit Luger, serial# 91339, and observe that several of the parts expected to be serial-numbered are not. These include:
breechblock
front toggle
firing pin
receiver (lug)
holdopen
grips

My question is, was this DWM's common practice in this era of production?

I would very much apreciate if anyone with a 1920 DWM Commercial serial# 74723 thru serial# 92000 would examine their Lugers and report how thoroughly the parts are serial numbered.

As a comparison it would be useful to know the same information for the 1920-1921 dated Military and Police Lugers with AyA4 or WaA4 proofs numbered in the military style (4-digit, ns, a, b suffix).

It would also be useful to know the same practice for the 1914 Commercial 5-digit serial# model from 71000 through 74222.

Please post your replies here, or email medwightg@pacifier.com . Thanks very much to everybody.
